We’re halfway through summer and wardrobe (and apartment) boredom has hit. Hard. There’s only so many tie-dyed sweats/biker short/oversized sweatshirt combos you can work with until the NYC heat hits. As we slowly re-enter the next phase of normal, we’re welcoming the season with breezy dresses, open-toed shoes, & endless Aperol Spritzes. International travel might have been cancelled, but we’re making the most of the new outdoorsy life with summer shoes with A-list style.
The Style: Sandals
The perfect shoe for...
The last few months has been filled with home cooking and A LOT of it. With the re-opening of some of our favorite restaurants, we’re all about the opportunity to dress up and dine alfresco. The Yani Sandal is summer-chic with clear straps and a low heel to enjoy an evening stroll after dinner. Pairs well with wide legged jeans and a crisp glass of Sauvignon blanc.
The Style: Espadrilles
The perfect shoe for...
Citi bikes have become our go-to form of transportation. It 100% qualifies as exercise and it’s easily the best ride for local sight-seeing while you get some fresh air. Pair your denim cut-off’s with the lace-up Wren Oxford Espadrille or the slip-on Wesley Espadrille for a look that’s casual and cool.
The Style: Mules
The perfect shoe for...
When in doubt, road trip. Select hotels are open to the public, and we could all use a change of scenery right about now. Pack your weekender with warm weather staples (swimwear for pool/beach access) and easy-to-wear mules for the ultimate weekend escape style. We love a flowy dress with the Carlie Mule. Bonus: the Carlie comes in all the colors to match anything your wardrobe throws at you).
The Style: Flats
The perfect shoe for...
On-the-go cocktails for the on-the-go girl. Pair the Annika flats with a light & airy linen jumpsuit for a sleek summer look. Add your best friend and you’ve got a perfect evening of outdoor socializing (even from 6’ apart).
