This week has hit us (and the entire world) hard. It’s been raw, emotional, gut-wrenching, and eye-opening. We are deeply saddened and outraged at the racial injustice that the black community has endured, and devastated that it has taken so much time and so many innocent lives to jumpstart a serious course of action.
We have always stood in solidarity with our entire community, but we are not perfect. If this has taught us anything, we now know that it’s not enough to not be racist. It’s that we need to be actively ANTI-racist. This means we have the uncomfortable conversations, we acknowledge our privilege, and we use our voice to help in any way possible.
Support comes in many shapes and sizes and social media is a powerful tool – one that we rely on daily for our business. As a brand, we commit to using this platform, and our voice, to listen, research, empower, share, and continually educate ourselves moving forward. This isn’t just a hashtag, this isn’t just a trend. It’s a continuous battle that we will continue to fight.
There are so many resources & ways to help. Watch movies, read books, share articles, sign petitions, protest, donate, use your voice. Every small action is one step forward.
